Dear Beloved Community,
We have each other, whether in broad community, in close friendships, or within our smaller community circles. At UUCA, we are accompanied through our joys and celebrations and our laments and heartbreaks. We are grateful to be among those who value care, inclusion, and justice. We are grateful to see each other’s faces. We are grateful to have a space in which we can listen, learn, and grow. We are fortunate to have a place where we know that we do not need to think alike to love alike. We experience in life many moments where we are missing full inclusion and welcome, and we yearn for that Beloved Community together. We collectively witness that the world hungers for justice, repair, and peace. We commit to responding to that hunger together. UUCA is part of our spirit’s answer.
This is the community from which we receive and to which we give. We are a community of reciprocity. Will you join us in making a year-end gift, as generously as you have the means to do so? As you reflect upon making a contribution to our community:
- As the calendar and tax year ends, consider whether and how you are able to make financial gifts to the church, an organization that reflects your values.
- How will you include UUCA in your holiday gift-giving? Making a charitable gift is in the spirit of the holiday season, and we know the people within UUCA matter to you too.
- Everyone giving at the level they can makes a huge difference.
