Brandon PaceBrandon Pace

Nominating Committee (2-year term)

Brandon Pace has been a member of UUCA since 2003 and was married by Rev. Fred to fellow member Patrick Cox long before marriage equality reached Maryland. When their engagement was announced to the congregation, they were enveloped by so much love and support and knew this would be their forever spiritual home. This act of civil disobedience led them to fight for marriage equality and we are happy to see our congregation continue to support the values we hold so dear. After a 10-year stint in NYC, the family rejoined UUCA in 2019 along with their now 17-year-old daughter Isabella. Brandon works in healthcare as a Nurse Anesthetist and spends his free time on their farm in Owings raising silkie chickens. Brandon has served two terms on the Endowment Committee and looks forward to deepening relationships with congregants by joining the Nominating Committee.

Ann Parsons joined the choir when she joined UUCA in 2015 and she has thoroughly enjoyed being an active part of the supportive choir community during her time at UUCA. Ann has belonged to multiple covenant groups over the years, has attended numerous 8th-principle meetings, and has participated in most of UUCA’s anti-racism programs. She is currently finding being a Coming-of-Age mentor to be immensely rewarding. Ann cherishes the gifts that UUCA has given her. Belonging to the UUCA community keeps her thinking about the things that really matter in life and gives her so many opportunities for action and friendship. She loves UUCA and wishes to help keep it a healthy and inspirational community now and into the future.

Ann is a NASA astrophysicist and has worked at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center for over thirty years. She would bring her people management skills along with her critical thinking and analytic abilities to her new role as an At-Large member of the Board of Trustees.
