FIGHT CLIMATE CHANGE AND SAVE MONEY!

The State of Maryland’s recently expanded “Community Solar Pilot Program” gives utility customers a way to help grow Maryland’s solar energy supply while getting a discount off their electricity bills.  Savings are especially high for people with low or moderate incomes.   It’s a novel way to “go solar” without having to invest directly in roof-top panels.   Join the Green Initiative Team at UUCA for a breakout session after church on October 17 to hear how the program works, its advantages and limitations, and how to go about signing up, if you choose.  Gary Skulnik, CEO of one of the participating companies, will explain how his company connects customers, Maryland solar farms, and BGE.
