READY TO TAKE POST-ELECTION ACTION
FOR RACIAL AND ECONOMIC JUSTICE?
Gather with other UUs to join a Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ) Gear Up Circle. This 10-week nationwide training program (with 4 Zooms and 6 in-person meetings) will build community, organizing skills, and prepare us for the next four years. White people have an important role and responsibility: bringing more white people into multiracial movements for resistance and change.
Our next meeting will be on Sat. 12/14, 10:00-11:30 am in the Jordan Family Sanctuary and the Circle runs from 12/4/24 – 2/12/25. Email Renée Stephens, Sara Palmer, or Linda Mundy to confirm your attendance or for questions. Spots are limited.
