WINTER RELIEF –
A Week of Shelter at UUCA
for 25 Adults
Experiencing Homelessness
Please Sign-up to Volunteer and Donate!
During the week Jan 27 through Feb 3, UUCA will be providing shelter, meals and activities for 25 unhoused adults from our county. They will come to us through a program run by Arundel House of Hope. We are participating with 40 other congregations around Anne Arundel County to provide shelter during the coldest months of the year, November through March.
On weekdays, our guests will be with us at the church from about 4 pm till about 7 am, and will be with us 24/7 over the weekend. Our church and UUCA volunteers will be providing overnight shelter and all meals and activities for the entire week. A busy week ahead, for sure! This is an enormous opportunity to bring together large numbers of UUCA members for a very important activity and to be a welcoming congregation to people in need.
We’ll need everybody’s help!
