Camp Beagle needs more VOLUNTEERS
July 18-22, 2022
Do you love to teach science? Teach children? Can you volunteer for a session at Camp Beagle?
We need Harbormasters!! Harbormasters are the teachers of Camp Beagle. You would teach two 45-minute lessons in the am and/or in the pm. Lesson plans prepared for you, some material prep is necessary.
Tuesday am: Port Adventure- Tree of Life lesson (leading a prepared outdoor adventure in Muir Woods)
Tuesday pm: Port Science-Owls & dissecting Owl Pellets (indoors)
Thursday am: Port Adventure-SCATology (outdoors)
Friday am: Port Adventure- Recycling &Upcycling (outdoors)
We can always use Deckhands (which are drop-in volunteers that just help with the need at hand), You could just come by for a couple of hours to lend a hand.
