HOW TO REGISTER, SEARCH AND BID
Register: There is no charge to register, search or bid, but to bid on an item, you must register. This is your commitment to pay for the items you bid on and win. A credit card is required for bidding. All bidding is anonymous.
Here’s how:
- type fundraiser.bid/UUCA2024 into your browser to access the online catalog
- click the Register to Bid button
- fill out the form. Remember to put in your cell phone number so you will get texts
- type in your credit card number with expiration date and CVC
- Accept the terms and conditions
Search: Use the Online Auction button to search the catalog of auction items. You canscroll through the pages (go all the way to the end to see everything!) or use the searchboxes, one for items and the other for categories. Clear these boxes to start a new search.
Bid: If you’d like to bid on an item, enter the amount you’re bidding. Most items have a starting bid and a bid increment specified. If someone outbids you, you will receive a text message or email so you can bid again. You can bid as many times as you wish—the highest bidder “wins” the item.
Special categories:
- Buy It Now: For those items listed as “Buy It Now”, simply select the number of items you want and pay for them at checkout.
- Cash donations: Cash donations are gladly accepted in lieu of, or in addition to, your bids! Enter your donation amount at the bottom of the Auctria welcome page.
