Dear Member and Friends of UUCA,
It’s hard to believe that almost 2 1/2 years have flown by and my time with UUCA is coming to a close. My contract with you extends through July 31st; however, I’ll be taking unused vacation and study leave time for most of July, so that’s why my last Sunday with you will be on June 21st.
It’s been my practice to write up what I’ve learned about congregations during the interim time, and you are no exception! I invite you to grab some tea or coffee and open up my final report, which can be found HERE. It’s been updated since it was first published in an email on Friday, May 15th. I’ve corrected some grammar and typos and thought of a few people and programs which I neglected to include. It’s not meant to be an exhaustive report about ALL of UUCA programs; instead, I focused on the ones upon which I had a direct impact and/or ones that were in my ministerial portfolio.
This has been an amazing 2 1/2 years. The lessons I’ve learned and the ministry we’ve done together will stay with me always – as will your spirit. I am so very grateful that you offered me this opportunity. I truly have received more grace, good will and good times than I may have given!
