Jillian Amodio
is Resigning
Dear High School Youth Community,
Jillian Amodio is resigning from the position as UUCA’s High School Youth Coordinator. She joined us at a tender time, February 2021, mid-pandemic when the church and youth were still meeting 100% online. We are grateful for the creative ways she re-engaged our youth and for bringing consistency and meaningful content back to the youth group over the past year.
I believe we are in a much stronger and more stable position because of her leadership throughout this ever-evolving time. Her last Sunday with the youth will be this coming Sunday, May 15th. Please join me in wishing her well and thanking her for her time at UUCA.
We will begin searching immediately for a replacement, so please let me know if you have a special person in mind that we could invite to apply for the job or if you would like to be part of the hiring process. I would like to include parents and youth on the hiring team.
Thank you for your continued support,
Julie Burman
From Jillian:
Dear UUCA high school youth and parents,
I have thoroughly enjoyed the past year working with you to grow the high school youth program. COVID definitely presented us with challenges but I think we all handled it with positivity and creativity.
For various personal reasons, I am stepping down from the position of high school youth coordinator. We have already done some great work and laid the foundation for continued growth and I have no doubt that under Julie’s continued leadership and under the guidance of whoever fills this position next, the high school youth program will continue to grow.
I am wishing all of you well and I thank you for the time spent together.
With gratitude,
Jillian
