Join ACT Summer Camp –
Community Organizing Training Series
Join with leaders from across ACT for a summer of trainings! As we build our new teams focused on the issues identified by our Listening Campaign, these trainings are designed for people who want to lead or participate in one of these teams. We will be focusing on the skills and tools needed to be an effective community leader who tackles systemic issues and brings more justice to our County.
This is a series of trainings that will build on one another. We understand that summer is a busy time, but please do not plan to miss more than 2 sessions.
Each month there will be one in-person session and one session on Zoom. All sessions will take place on Mondays 7-9 pm on the following dates. Locations and Zoom links will be provided to all who register.
- June 12 – First Christian Community Church of Annapolis
- June 26 – on zoom
- July 10 – St. Anne’s Episcopal Church
- July 24 – on zoom
- August 8 – in person (please note this is a Tuesday night, not a Monday)
- August 21 – on zoom

- Moving from Overwhelming Problems to Solvable Issues
- Power Analysis and Research Through Action
- Building a Strong Team
- Our Values as an Interfaith and Multiracial Organization
