Join Full Circle Weavers for Samhain Saturday November 2, 2024,
7:30 pm
Unitarian Universalist Church of Annapolis Labyrinth and Memorial Garden Cultures all over the world have holidays around November 1 honoring & celebrating those who have gone before, such as All Saints Day and Dia de los Muertos, that are the origin of what we celebrate as Halloween. Full Circle’s Samhain (pronounced Saa-wn) event is centered around walking the labyrinth where participants are invited to walk the labyrinth in honor of their ancestors.
It is a beautiful, healing way to be present in loss and to honor our beloved dead. Some years, we wept in grief, smiled at memories and others, we have found peace.
The earth-centered spirituality practice group, Full Circle, will be hosting our Samhain celebration on Saturday, November 2nd beginning at 7:30pm using the outdoor labyrinth & memorial garden on the UUCA grounds. Arrive early, around 6:30, if you’d like to set up an ancestor altar in the space provided.
This event is open to all adults. Email fullcircleuuca@gmail.com with any questions.
