Everyone has a powerful life story or lesson to share. What is yours?
At UUCA, we value learning from the perspectives, life experiences, and expertise of those in its membership and the wider community. In this class, guided by Rev. Erika Hewitt’s book, The Shared Pulpit, you can gain experience writing and preaching a full-length sermon for their congregation. Workshop participants learn about the theory and theology of preaching, then practice writing and speaking with authenticity, gradually building toward composing quality 20-minute sermons. The small group format encourages connection, sharing, and support. With Rev. Anastassia.
