When Will We Have Church In-Person Again?

Good question…  Like you, the ministers and staff miss seeing your lovely faces.  It’s been too long–nine months of waiting for a vaccine.  2020 can’t end quick enough many say!

However, the Food and Drug Administration’s approvals of several COVID-19 vaccines bring some holiday hope.  In fact, in January, the ministers and staff will begin discussing our return to the UUCA congregation on Sundays.   For obvious reasons, this will not happen until a large majority of Marylanders and US citizens get their COVID-19 shot; and the state and county say we can return to church.

Even still, we are convening a small group of members to advise the staff on how to safely return to UUCA in 2021.  We are hopeful that this will happen in the spring but feel more confident of this occurring by the “In-gathering” service in September of 2021.  Look for more from this “reopening team” in future articles.

With love and holiday joy,

Rev. John & Rev. Anastassia
